Blackbird R.I.P.

We were all very sad about the Blackbird. They were building a nest in the Clematis.

Frog Action

The frogs have been much in evidence in the pond today. They are croaking throatily. We think they are Marsh Frogs rather than Common Frogs.

Frogspawn

There is plenty of spawn as well.

Vinca Major

The Periwinkle (Vinca Major) is flowering well this year for the first time. (This and the Christmas Rose image were taken toward the end of February.)

Christmas Rose Update

The Christmas Rose has been in flower constantly since the last post, and as you can see it is still going strong.
